Best iPad List for 2022. For strong shifts

Huawei MateBook 14s - Best in General

Huawei MateBook 14s - Best in General

MateBook 14s, a modified version of the premium MateBook 14, is also a versatile device desirable in the laptop market, especially now the webcam is back on the screen instead of hiding it in the keyboard.

It's only 720p but supports an impressive 14-second Windows Hello login almost everywhere, from components to an H-series i7 processor and 16GB RAM.

In addition, the 2.5K screen offers a smooth update rate of 90 Hz and there are plenty of ports as well. It's a shame thunderbolt 4 is limited to high-specification version and there are thinner and lighter competitors if portability is the priority.

Apple MacBook Air (M1) - Best MacBook

Apple MacBook Air (M1) - Best MacBook

The MacBook Air may not look different from the previous one, but what matters is what's inside.

The 5nm M1 offers a big boost compared to intel 10nm segments from the previous MacBook Air range, which is stunningly fast-running, handling light video editing and games via Apple Arcade effortlessly.

It's faster than many Intel-based Windows alternatives, providing a sensation for your efforts from Apple's ultra-light iPads. There is also a big jump in battery life and first-class screen, as well as keyboard and tracking panel.

It's fanless, bringing with it the advantage of silent playback, but it also means that the laptop will stifle performance to keep things cool. Those who want to edit the video for consecutive hours may be better off with the fan-equipped MacBook Pro M1, although it doesn't add any other ports.

LG gram 17 - best 17 inches

LG gram 17 - best 17 inches

We didn't think LG could make the 17 grams much better, but the latest version has already come up with it.

It's still an incredibly lightweight geometric marvel and is now improving the noise we had before, all within a more attractive design. Our main complaint was the speakers and the trackpad, both of which are better.

The laptop also has an amazing battery life, has been upgraded to Thunderbolt 4 and has an excellent screen. It is not touch sensitive and some users may prefer to make a more fragile keyboard.

However, this 17-inch laptop remains to be overcome, and LG now has a 16 g if you want something a little smaller and cheaper.

Dell XPS 15 - Best 15 Inches

Dell XPS 15 - Best 15 Inches

It may have a standard webcam with a bad HDR app, but these are simple things for what's amazing from Dell.

Those looking for a 15-inch Windows iPad, perhaps as an alternative to the MacBook Pro, will be under intense pressure to find something better than xps 15 for 2020. Elsewhere.

It's expensive at the top end, but you don't need to spend nearly £3,000 to get a stunning laptop. In fact, simply avoid the option of lower specifications with built-in graphics and you will have enough for most users.

Unless you know you need a 4K screen, the full HD option will suffice and increase battery life.

Huawei MateBook D 14 - Best Value for Money

Huawei MateBook D 14 - Best Value for Money

Despite the mid-range nature of the laptop, Huawei has done a great job of making the MateBook D 14 look like an excellent option.

It features internal AMD devices that can provide similarly priced laptops for their money, and although not described as a gaming laptop, Radeon Vega 8 graphics are enough to play casual games like Fortnite and Rocket League without any problem. There is also an all-day battery life, just over 10 hours in our standard, and fast charging at 65 Watt means it can replenish 43 percent of battery power in just half an hour.

It's lightweight, portable and powerful, making the MateBook D 14 difficult to beat in the medium field.

HP Envy 13 - Powerful Processor

HP Envy 13 - Powerful Processor

HP Envy 13 looks good, has a great screen, and has a very solid daily computing power in its Core i5 look. It also has a strong keyboard and good battery life. In many respects, it's an impressive mobile device every day.

HP's core laptop has been our favorite for years, but the 2021 version has declined and it is now difficult to find the 2020 version.

The iPad is still good and comes at a reasonable price unless you're looking for an i7 SKU, and you may not enjoy hdmi and Thunderbolt shortages either. You can find more stable designs elsewhere and better tracking panels as well.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 - Best for live streaming and youtubers

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 - Best for live streaming and youtubers

It may not contain a fingerprint scanner or ethernet port but it is difficult to error in Slim Yoga 7 and the latter is rare anyway.

Lenovo provides the vast majority of things most people will look for on an iPad at a reasonable price. It is lightweight and portable as the name suggests, although it does not have a 360-degree hinge like many yoga models.

There is a choice of Intel or AMD processors, a good screen, strong battery life, Dolby Atmos speakers, Wi-Fi 6 and more. In general, a very good value package for money.

Acer Swift 5 - Best Versatile Laptop

Acer Swift 5 - Best Versatile Laptop

Acer continues to impress with Swift 5, an excellent versatile iPad.

It's not as affordable as the last version, but it's incredibly compact and lightweight, yet it remains excellent and offers a good range of outlets including Thunderbolt 4.

It doesn't have the best keyboard or speakers, but the screen has been improved, performance is strong and battery life is also impressive. In general, there's very little you don't like here as Acer continues to improve its best iPad.

Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 - Best Laptop 2B1

Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 - Best Laptop 2B1

Samsung continues to manufacture excellent convertible 2-in-1 laptops since its return to the laptop market and this is our new favorite, although the Galaxy Book Flex 2 is still a great choice.

The screen can be brighter and there is no custom screen card here, but excellent design and pen support make book Pro 360 a versatile machine that can handle a wide range of normal and creative tasks.

Performance is still strong, battery life is enormous, and you can even choose 5G mobile data if you need it.

Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 - Best Manufacturing Quality

Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 - Best Manufacturing Quality

It's more than Microsoft here and although the design can do with the update, surface Laptop 4 is another great versatile laptop that suits many different users.

Fans can be a little noisy, but the performance is strong from AMD or Intel chips and battery life is also strong. The cutting-edge screen and great keyboard provide a comfortable experience.

However, the sophisticated versions are very expensive and we would like to see some options such as oled panel and optional LTE connection.

Dell XPS 13 - Best Keyboard

Dell XPS 13 - Best Keyboard

XPS 13 was once the undisputed king in the ultrabook world, but the competition stepped up its game and Dell does not do enough to keep up with this era.

A beautiful 16:10 screen and the best keyboard you'll find anywhere is enough to mean that XPS 13 is worth looking for anyone thinking about using windows ultrabook, but the caveats look clearer than ever – a weak definition of port and price decline.

The late 2020 version with 11th-generation Intel on the thermal side was improved with better performance but still not ideal with noisy fans. This may mean that you can find the older 9300 cheaper if you agree with the negative aspects.

Huawei MateBook X Pro - Best Luxury Design

Huawei MateBook X Pro - Best Luxury Design

The design became a little tired four years later, especially webcam mode when video connectivity is more important than ever, but the X Pro still looks elegant and has excellent building quality.

Better battery life can be found anywhere else and there is no longer an option for a dedicated screen card unit and this is a shame. It's not pro as it used to be, but it's still an excellent choice in different ways.

Intel's latest fast chipset, 3:2 screen fit, and X Pro are among the best for keyboard and tracking panel.

Asus ZenBook Duo - Best Practical Laptop 2 by 1

Asus ZenBook Duo - Best Practical Laptop 2 by 1

The innovative ZenBook Duo stops, literally, around its second screen, and is an interesting setting if you like the idea of h aving two screens without having to connect one.

It makes multitasking impressive in certain situations once you get used to it and perform well for a wide range of tasks as well as good battery life. It is also surprisingly lightweight and portable for a two-screen machine.

However, this second screen has negative aspects, especially the knockout effect on the keyboard and tracking panel, making it small and confusing.

Samsung Galaxy Book S - Best Battery Life

Samsung Galaxy Book S - Best Battery Life

The Galaxy Book S is a stylish, well-made and ultra-compact laptop, albeit with a faded keyboard.

Combine this with the longest battery life we've seen so far, and you may just have found the perfect travel companion if the price isn't too high.

However, despite Qualcomm's good work to improve Windows on Snapdragon, there are performance and compatibility problems that will alienate more demanding users.

Asus ZenBook Flip S UX371 - Best 4K Laptop

Asus ZenBook Flip S UX371 - Best 4K Laptop

There are 2 in 1 cheaper iPads around but ZenBook Flip S is amazing if you can.

It is one of the most impressive laptops with a slim and beautiful design and, as its name suggests, the ability to move to different modes. You'll also benefit from the great 4K OLED display, 1TB storage and thunderbolt 4 inserts.

There are 11th-generation Intel processors here, although slim design limits performance and there is no headphone jack here despite a full-size HDMI port.

How to choose a laptop

Sometimes you can't beat a larger screen, keyboard and Windows to get things done, and then your only option is a iPad. There are many different types, including hybrid devices that can be either an iPad or tablet, high-quality gaming laptops, cheap and cheerful budget models, and even those running a Mac instead of Windows 10.

How much should I spend on an laptop
?

Sometimes the best comes at a high price, but you can get plenty of laptops for less than £500 or even £300 – provided you only need full basic tasks such as browsing the web, writing emails and creating an individual document.

It can save you around £500 or more for a powerful iPad, but you'll probably have a range of specifications for beginners. We are talking about a relatively basic processor, minimal SSD storage space, and a relatively low quality screen. It may also be on the heavy side.
